With the charm of an old house with all the comforts of today, Les Closanes is a traditional Catalan farmhouse, which dates from the end of the XIV century. The house was restored in 2008 preserving the traditional architecture of the Catalan country houses and the furniture, paintings and objects of the time but providing all the amenities.
Surrounded by nature and prehistory
In an ideal environment for tourism. The house is surrounded by garden and fruit trees and situated in a superb natural setting and five-minute walk from the prehistoric caves of El Toll. At an altitude of 800 meters, you can enjoy a splendid landscape with a view of all the mountain ranges in central Catalonia and Pre-Pyrenees.
Agro tourism but easily accessible
Easy to locate and well-connected, but in the midst of nature. Although it is a country house, you can get there on a well-paved road and is only 7 miles from Moià and 3 from Collsuspina. Coming from the road N-141 (from Manresa to Vic), you have to take a turn at km. 32, following the signs for Les Closanes and Coves del Toll.
Les Closanes is outside the village of Moià in a setting of great beauty and wealth, varying with the changing seasons and surrounded by places with lots of charm: natural caves, streams, a forest of oaks, and even a botanical tour to enjoy around the caves of El Toll, to learn about its ecosystem of holly oaks sharing space with the riparian forest.
The farmhouse consists of several rooms with common elements such as bathrooms, hall and kitchen. We rent the complete house what is called vacation rental, specially suitable for groups. You can see details of the areas and the country surrounding the cottage of Les Closanes
Moianès: It is a natural region, linked to the plateau of the same name. Located between the regions of Bages, Vallès Occidental and Osona, it includes 10 towns: Moià, Castellterçol, Castellcir , San Quirze de Safaja, Calders, Monistrol de Calders, Santa Maria d'Olo, L’Estany, Granera and Collsuspina. There are many reasons for tourists to come to El Moianès: its natural environment, with its forests, farms and roads. In Moià you can find many attractions like the caves of El Toll, the Home Museum of Rafel Casanova, the park, the home of tenor Francesc Viñas and plenty of weekend activities, although you may choose to stay at the country house and enjoy its environment, walk to the Caves of El Toll, or just follow the path along the river.
We want to emphasize its proximity to Barcelona, an hour drive, and easy access to the house. And the fact that despite being in a privileged natural environment, the proximity to Collsuspina or Moià allows you to enjoy many and varied services: restaurants, shops open on Sundays, museums and places to visit.
