The plateau of el Moianès is between the regions of Bages, Vallès Occidental and Osona, it includes 10 towns: Moià, Castellterçol, Castellcir , San Quirze de Safaja, Calders, Monistrol de Calders, Santa Maria d'Olo, L’Estany, Granera and Collsuspina.
The area near Les Closanes attracts a large part of the tourism of El Moianès because it is an area rich in prehistoric remains: apart from the caves of the Toll-right beside the house of Les Closanes - you can visit tombs and dolmens that present a rich heritage.
To enjoy the nature and fauna can follow the Track around Moianès (GR 177) a path that connects all the municipalities and covers the most unique areas that conform the broad, comprehensive and varied territory, including beech, pine forests and small streams of water. TRADE
At weekend you will find most shops in Moià open. on Saturday and on Sunday morning. On Sunday morning you can visit the weekly market in the main square.
THE PARK
The Park in Moià is in the centre of the town. One of the main attractions is the monumental size of trees that surround the lake, the paths and a children's play area at the lower area.
THE MUSEUM
The building dates from 1570 and is the birthplace of Rafael Casanova, hero of the defence of the city of Barcelona in 1714. Currently there is an explanation of the life of Rafael Casanova, the municipal archives and the museum of archaeology and palaeontology of Moià.
